Episode 157: Tasmanians at Risk

This week, as part of our RHHRF series, we interview Dr Andrew Black. He is a cardiologist at the RHH, as well as undergoing a PhD with UTAS. His ongoing work with the Tasmanian STEMI network is leading the way toward a better future for healthcare in remote areas of Tasmania.

In this episode, we discuss Andrew’s career, some of his previous research and his unique lens as a cardiologist who is also paving a way for previously unseen medical interventions for Tasmanians who may not have close access to a hospital in the event of heart problems.
